Quality control points for PCBA processing

The overall steps of PCBA production and processing include PCB board production and processing, SMT, electronic device procurement and testing, DIP, burn write testing, aging, assembly and other process processes. The entire production process covers a wide range of steps, including many key quality management points. If there are no very strict product quality supervision regulations, it will lead to lax or lack of standards for inspection standards. It is highly likely that even a slight mistake at a certain stage will result in batches of PCBA boards being damaged or requiring repair, leading to obvious quality and safety accidents.

When we receive detailed requirements from the customer, the first step is to analyze the processing technology required by the customer based on the PCB Gerber document and PCB specification document of the engineering project. At the same time, we need to submit a DFM report for the processing technology.

If there are no issues with the PCB board and electronic components. We can continuously improve the supervision of all production and processing processes, and ensure the quality of all PCBA production and processing.

1. Selection of raw materials

Before PCBA production, it is necessary to carefully select raw materials such as PCB, components, solder, etc. The quality of these materials is directly related to the quality of PCBA products. Choosing high-quality raw materials that meet quality standards can effectively improve the quality of products.

2. Process control

The production process of PCBA requires multiple processes, including printed circuit boards, component installation, welding, and so on. Each process requires strict control to ensure the correctness and stability of the process, in order to ensure product consistency and stability. For example, during the installation process of components, measures such as dispensing and welding need to be implemented, which can not only improve product quality but also effectively reduce product failure rates.

3. Inspection and Testing

After production is completed, PCBA products need to be inspected and tested. These processes can effectively find potential quality problems of products, such as poor welding, Failure cause, etc. Through inspection and testing, the production process of PCBA products can be adjusted and optimized in a timely manner, thereby improving product quality and stability.

4. After sales service

Once the production of PCBA products is completed, after-sales service needs to be provided. Effective after-sales service can not only solve the problems encountered by users during use, but also serve as an important means for enterprises to demonstrate their responsibility to users. Providing high-quality after-sales service can not only meet customer needs and enhance the reputation of the enterprise, but also effectively ensure the production quality and stability of products.

PCBA quality control is an important link in product production. Enterprises need to start from various aspects and accurately control and monitor every detail of the production process, in order to ultimately improve the quality and stability of products.

In the early DFM report, we can provide some suggestions to customers before PCB processing. For example, set some key Test point on the PCB, so as to conduct PCB welding test and subsequent key test of circuit continuity and connectivity after PCBA processing. When conditions permit, you can communicate with the customer to provide the back-end program, and then burn the PCBA program into the core control IC through a burner. This makes it more concise to test the circuit board through touch actions, in order to test and inspect the integrity of the entire PCBA and detect defective products in a timely manner.
